Sound is all around us. Sound is simply
vibration that that is received by a vibrating medium from another vibrating
medium transmitting the vibration. There
are 2 range of sounds, audible and inaudible to the human ear.
Regardless
of whether we can hear these sounds or not, they play a very big part on our
emotions and physical well being, much more than we are aware of. Humans are
vibrating bodies and every cell in our body has their own note. However the
cells also respond to the vibrations ( or energy) around them. When we feel peaceful,
calm or joyful our cells are resonating at an optimal frequency With every cell
in each organ singing harmoniously with other organs the whole body becomes a
grand orchestra of resonating sounds and beautiful composition emerges. This is
our soul song. Every Soul has its own unique tune when we are born.
When we hear discordant music, noise or engaged
in negative conversations, our cells start to go out of tune and we can even
feel a sense of discomfort. For example, we feel relaxed in the presence of
soothing music and the pounding sound of a hammer jack drill can give us a headache. Some inaudible sounds can have similar
effects. Have you ever felt lousy for no
reason? Soon the organ gets affected
which in turn affect the other organs in the body. Every part in our body is so
intricately connected and eventually the whole body orchestra is off tune. We
begin to feel tired, depressed and pain would manifest itself or we start to
fall sick often.
Getting our body in tune can be done simply
by listening to sounds that re- align us. The key is in the vibration of the
sound as well and the receiver’s intent. Sound sources can range from soothing
music, sounds of nature, affirmations or chanting. Listening to pure frequency
sounds is very powerful way of entraining the cells back to their normal
resonance. This can be achieved in a sound session when the various instruments
are played around the receiver as she is lying down. The different range of
music vibrations will find their way into the recipient cells and entrains the
cells to retune back to their normal state in a short time.
